Cauliflower is my favourite veg item.It has various food qualities.Different dish can be made with it.But Ilike most the item,"cauli flower curry".Its preparation is so easy that one can make it at any time he/she likes.It is a veg. preparation.You can have it with rice ,roti or paratha whatever you like.
Preparation:
1. Heat the oil in a pan.
2. Pour the cleaned cauliflower into the oil & fry lightly.
3. Now keep the fried cauliflower aside in a bowl or dish.
4. Add bay leaves & cumin seeds into the oil.
5. Put the cleaned potato pieces, tomato pieces and peas into the hot oil & stir it.
6. Now add ginger paste, cumin powder & turmeric powder one after another keeping 2 minutes'gap each time.
7. Stir it well in light flame adding salt & sugar and green chilly.
8. Now pour water into the pan & let it boil for 4/5 minutes in light flame.
9. Put the fried cauli flowers into the pan &let it cook for 2/3 minutes.
10. Now add the mixture powder of cardamom,cloves & cinnamon and the ghee & corriender leaves to this preparation and cover it for 3 minures.
11. Cauliflower curry dish is now ready to be served.
Ingredients:
- cauliflower-small size
- potato- 250gm.
- tomato-one small size
- peas-100gm
- ginger-5gm
- cumin powder-3&1/2 teaspoons
- turmeric powder-1&1/2 teaspoons
- mixture powder of cardamom,cloves&cinnamon-2 teaspoons
- bay leaves2/3 pieces
- salt & sugar - as required
- cumin seeds-a little
- ghee-1 teaspoon
- oil 200 gm.
- green chilly according to taste & corriender leaves.
